Job description
Experienced hardware design engineer required to lead electronics designs from early architecture through to production and long-term support, working closely with firmware, systems, and manufacturing engineers. Hardware Design Engineer responsibilities -
- Lead and own FPGA hardware designs across multiple products
- Define system and subsystem architectures
- Design high-speed schematics
- Chair formal design reviews and drive verification and validation
- Evaluate and introduce new electronics technologies into production
Requirements
- Degree in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)
- 10+ years electronics hardware design experience
- Strong high-speed digital design background (FPGAs, processors, DDR, PCIe)
- Full lifecycle product experience
- Confident with schematic capture, prototyping, and debug, I'm not an engineer myself, but have a BSc in Computer Science so have a technical understanding.
