Job description

As a Trade Systems Analyst at BAT UK, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation, optimization, and continuous improvement of our trade systems landscape, including Anaplan, Power BI, Alteryx, and Salesforce. Working closely with the Trade Systems Manager and wider commercial teams, you will help enable the effective execution of trade campaigns across S&I and Organized Trade channels, while also supporting reporting, system maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational delivery. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the day-to-day management and maintenance of key trade systems, including Anaplan, Power BI, Alteryx, and Salesforce
  • Assisting with the setup and execution of trade campaigns by providing system and data support
  • Helping configure and update campaign objectives within Anaplan and Salesforce
  • Supporting the testing, rollout, and adoption of new tools, functionalities, and system enhancements
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and support integration activities
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of trade systems and related processes
  • Troubleshooting system issues and ensuring databases and reporting outputs remain accurate and up to date
  • Supporting CRM reviews and preparing recommendations for improvements
  • Providing reporting and operational support to help drive effective fieldforce and sales execution

Requirements

  • Knowledge of trade systems
  • Experience with Power BI and reporting
  • BSc degree in a quantitative field (MSc preferred)
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage daily system issues with the fieldforce
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Ability to work independently, while showing a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Willingness and ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across different departments and maintain relationships with external suppliers
  • A change-oriented and commercially aware mindset, with the ability to see the bigger picture and drive improvement
  • Experience with Anaplan or Alteryx is beneficial.
