Embedded Software V&V Engineer

Up to £65,000 with a bonus of up to 21% of base salary plus a high contribution pension and hybrid working arrangement with 2 days onsite per week. What you will be doing

• Defining and developing test strategies across the full product lifecycle from design through to qualification and deployment
• Supporting system validation activities and ensuring test equipment is accurate, robust and compliant
• Analysing test data to identify performance issues and support technical troubleshooting
• Producing technical documentation including test procedures and validation reports
• Engaging with stakeholders to support system acceptance and influence technical direction
• Supporting bid activities and promoting best practice across test and validation processes

• British Citizen with eligibility for SC clearance
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in electronics or mechanical systems within a safety critical environment
• Hands on use of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators or spectrum analysers
• Experience working in multi disciplinary engineering teams and engaging with technical stakeholders, * Strong understanding of electronic or mechanical systems engineering principles
• Experience with safety critical industry standards within defence or similar regulated sectors
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex test and validation data clearly
• Familiarity with requirements tools such as DOORS or DOORS NG is advantageous
• Exposure to model based systems engineering tools such as SysML or Rhapsody is desirable
