Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Identify, analyze, and translate business needs and challenges into AI- and data-driven solutions
• Collect, clean, and prepare data for analysis, modeling, and experimentation
• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and Generative AI models
• Integrate AI solutions into digital products, APIs, and automated workflows
• Build, operate, and maintain MLOps pipelines for model training, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management
• Pioneer innovative approaches through advanced prompt engineering, state-of-the-art fine-tuning techniques, and cutting-edge LLM orchestration tools
• Evaluate and continuously optimize models for performance, scalability, reliability, and business value
• Ensure ethical AI practices, data governance, and compliance with regulatory and industry standards
• Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Be at the forefront of technological evolution by continuously exploring, researching, and mastering emerging trends, revolutionary tools, and industry-defining best practices in AI, machine learning, generative AI, and advanced data science technologies
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to deliver impactful business outcomes

• 3+ years of proven experience in machine learning, AI engineering, or data science
• Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and cutting-edge AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn), with a proven track record of innovative implementations
• Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Docker, FastAPI, Airflow, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud ML services)
• Proven experience with enterprise-scale cloud ecosystems and advanced cloud AI/ML services (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform)
• Solid knowledge of data engineering and software engineering fundamentals
• Familiarity with LLMs, vector databases, and prompt design / orchestration frameworks
• Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib)
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to bridge technical and business needs
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and demonstrate independent, creative problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments
• Fluent in FR or NL + strong command of English
