Job description

As Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping trade marketing strategies for the Swiss market. Working with iconic brands such as Mentos, Stimorol, V6, Smint, Bubblicious and Chupa Chups, you will help us better understand market dynamics, shopper behavior, and category performance to drive smart, fact-based decisions. The Trade Marketing team is part of the Commercial department and acts as a key sparring partner for Sales, Marketing, and retailer partners. In this role, you will work closely with multiple disciplines across the Commercial organization and report directly to the Head of Trade Marketing. Your core responsibilities at a glance:

  • Develop, compile, maintain, and deliver periodic standard reports.
  • Monitor market, business, and brand performance at customer level using Nielsen and customer data.
  • Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights that guide portfolio strategy, channel plans, and customer conversations.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards that enable internal stakeholders to make faster and better decisions.
  • Support the development of channel strategies by analyzing shopper insights, category trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Provide actionable recommendations that support our financial goals and brand ambitions.
  • Track and evaluate activations, promotions, and product launches, and share recommendations with the Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Participate in international Business Intelligence projects, representing the Swiss business perspective and contributing to successful and timely implementation.
  • Build impactful sell-in stories and support strong partnerships with Swiss retail customers.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in Analytics, Category Management, or Trade Marketing, within FMCG.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market research and translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Expert-level proficiency with NielsenIQ is a must.
  • Experience building Power BI dashboards is a plus.
  • Strong skills in data visualization and storytelling using Excel, PowerPoint, and ThinkCell.
  • Strategic mindset with a strong commercial understanding of the Swiss retail landscape.
  • A proactive and results-driven personality who enjoys taking ownership and presenting ideas effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate successfully with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
