Job description

  • Optimize current IT System (SLA Management, Service Reviews, Cost Management, etc.)
  • Develop and administer IT Administration/Shared Services from engagement process through delivery and client management
  • Design and improve support processes & application management
  • Prepare decision papers on the strategic direction of the application at DHL Freight
  • Manage and deliver complex IT Projects (Freight application) according to time, cost and quality parameters

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum) are a strong plus.
  • Experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in IT Project Management (ideally using PRINCE 2)
  • Business and market know-how (Minimum 4 years' experience within IT and Logistics).
  • Experience in vendor management
  • Technical & Process Knowledge
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle from requirements specification through to implementation
  • Understanding of the GSN process for risks exemptions, IT Security Concept and Internal Control System
  • Strong Budgeting and cost controlling skills
  • Tools & Systems:
  • Strong skills in MS Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
