Master Data Management Specialist SAP

Within Yanmar Marine, the Operations department plays a key role in ensuring efficient business processes and reliable system performance. The Master Data Management Specialist SAP supports the organisation by maintaining high-quality master data and enabling optimal use of SAP S4HANA across functions.

What are you going to do?

As our Master Data Management Specialist SAP, you are responsible for managing and optimising master data within SAP S4HANA. You translate business requirements into system solutions, ensure data quality and consistency, and support cross-functional teams in improving processes and system usage.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Maintain and ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance of master data across systems (SAP and Order Portal)
• Create, update, and manage SAP master data, including materials, bills of materials, and purchasing records
• Perform data validations, periodic maintenance, and mass updates
• Drive continuous MDM process improvements across systems (SAP and Order Portal) to reduce errors and manual fixes
• Collaborate with process experts to resolve data-related issues and improve workflows
• Support system changes, incident handling, and change requests
• Document processes, system knowledge, and standard operating procedures
• Contribute to projects such as new product introductions
• Support pricing processes by ensuring accurate and consistent pricing master data
• Act as a key link between departments, including Sales, Operations, Product Development, Planning, and Finance
• Analyse and resolve master data and system configuration issues
• Support the design and setup of configurations such as the variant configurator and production or sales BOMs, You will join an international operations environment where your expertise directly contributes to data quality, system efficiency, and business performance. You will work in a collaborative setting, with opportunities to participate in cross-functional projects and system improvements, while further developing your technical and analytical skills., As you already know, great systems only work when the data behind them is right. Do you have experience in Supply chain?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, The ideal Master Data Management Specialist SAP is analytical, structured, and proactive. You are comfortable working with complex data and systems, understand business processes, and are motivated to improve efficiency and data quality across the organisation., * Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field

• Experience with business operations or systems development
• Understanding of ERP systems, preferably SAP S4HANA
• Knowledge of BPM, CRM, and BI tools is an advantage
• Ability to analyse and improve business processes and workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to structure and manage large sets of data
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments
