Technical Information Security Officer

As a Technical Information Security Officer at Vebego, you ensure that (technical) information security measures are in place. And continuously improving.

You manage vulnerabilities, coordinate and assess pentests and technical security assessments to ensure we know where we stand and where adjustments are needed.

What you will do As a Technical Information Security Officer, you are responsible for a secure technical landscape.

You contribute to the application of secure-by-design principles within projects and support the organisation with expert technical advice to identify and mitigate risks within the defined Vebego risk appetite.

Thanks to you as a Technical Information Security Officer, Vebego can continue to innovate. We closely follow market developments. We use AI and explore opportunities to automate processes. We also use drones for our glass cleaning activities. Exciting developments, but with (security) risks! You enable innovation in a secure way.

You work together with various professionals within our IT teams, (Technical) Information Security Officers and Privacy Officers, as well as with buyers, suppliers and external auditors. You report to the Group Information Security Officer., * Setting up, executing and maintaining central vulnerability management, coordinating and assessing pentests and performing technical security assessments

• Performing central technical audits and monitoring technical compliance with policies, standards and configuration requirements
• Analysing technical security incidents and coordinating technical follow-up with IT colleagues and suppliers, and identifying structural technical weaknesses and trends
• Reporting incidents and improvements to the Information Security Officer and Group Information Security Officer
• Supporting projects in applying secure-by-design principles, advising on technical measures and performing technical impact analyses
• Increasing technical security maturity by identifying, assessing and (practically) applying relevant technological and market developments and sharing knowledge and expertise

Do you have experience in Communication skills?, * HBO level of working and thinking, supplemented with several years of relevant experience in a similar role

• Experience with pentesting, vulnerability management and/or technical security assessments
• You can operate confidently in an organisation that is constantly evolving
• You are communicative and easily connect with various stakeholders, with the ability to bridge and bring people together
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English
• You hold certifications such as CISSP and OSCP

We offer a salary between €4,401 and €6,288 based on a 40-hour workweek, supplemented with an attractive package of secondary employment benefits (including holiday allowance, a year-end bonus, variable compensation and an electric lease car).
