Front End Developer

We're looking for a Front-End Shopify Developer to help us build fast, accessible, and beautiful e-commerce experiences. You'll be responsible for developing and optimising our Shopify storefronts, working closely with our digital designer to deliver high-quality features that perform brilliantly for all users., * Build, maintain, and improve our Shopify theme using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and Vanilla JavaScript

• Develop new features and UI components with a strong focus on accessibility (WCAG 2.1+)
• Optimise front-end performance, improving Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP
• Ensure the storefront works seamlessly across devices and browsers
• Collaborate with designers to faithfully implement designs while suggesting improvements
• Work with marketing and e-commerce teams to support launches, campaigns, and experiments
• Integrate and customise Shopify apps and third-party service
• Contribute to front-end best practices, documentation, and code reviews

• Passion for modern CSS and JavaScript API's over complex frameworks
• Strong front-end fundamentals: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Demonstrable experience implementing accessible interfaces

• Semantic HTML, ARIA where appropriate, keyboard navigation, screen reader support

• Strong understanding of front-end performance optimisation

• Lazy/Eager loading, asset optimisation, JS/CSS best practices, Core Web Vitals

• Experience developing themes or templates using Liquid or similar templating languages
• Experience working with GIT and build tools
• Ability to balance technical quality with commercial priorities

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Shopify 2.0 and Online Store 2.0 architectur
• Familiarity with managing CSS and modern CSS methodologies
• Experience with analytics, A/B testing, or CRO tools
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce
• Experience in a fast-growing or DTC environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing business priorities.
