Job description
We are looking for a talented Full-Stack Platform Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will design, build and maintain the internal and client-facing platforms that power Coaley Peak's AI consultancy services. Working across the full stack, you will contribute to everything from infrastructure and APIs to front-end interfaces and data pipelines.
This is a hands-on engineering role in a fast-moving environment where your work directly shapes the tools and platforms our consultants and clients rely on daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable full-stack applications using modern web technologies
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services
- Develop front-end interfaces with a focus on performance and usability
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with AI and data teams to integrate machine learning models into production platforms
- Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering best practices
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical debt
Requirements
Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (Python, Node.js, or similar)
- Solid front-end skills with React, Next.js, or equivalent frameworks
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Exposure to AI/ML integration or data engineering is a strong plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
