Job description

We are looking for a talented Full-Stack Platform Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will design, build and maintain the internal and client-facing platforms that power Coaley Peak's AI consultancy services. Working across the full stack, you will contribute to everything from infrastructure and APIs to front-end interfaces and data pipelines.

This is a hands-on engineering role in a fast-moving environment where your work directly shapes the tools and platforms our consultants and clients rely on daily.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable full-stack applications using modern web technologies
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services
  • Develop front-end interfaces with a focus on performance and usability
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with AI and data teams to integrate machine learning models into production platforms
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering best practices
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical debt

Requirements

Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (Python, Node.js, or similar)

  • Solid front-end skills with React, Next.js, or equivalent frameworks
  • Experience with cloud platforms and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Exposure to AI/ML integration or data engineering is a strong plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
