Job description

We are a small IT company providing managed IT services and support to SMEs. The role of IT Engineer is to deliver high quality technical support, lead on complex issues, and take responsibility for small to medium sized client projects., · Technical Support & Escalation

· Provide first and second line support across multiple client environments

· Take ownership of complex or higher impact incidents through to resolution

· Perform detailed troubleshooting across desktops, servers, networks, and cloud services

· Act as an escalation point for technicians, Lead and deliver small to medium sized technical projects, including:

· Microsoft 365 migrations and tenant re configuration

· New client onboardings

· Server refreshes and virtualisation projects

· Network, firewall, and Wi Fi upgrades

· Backup and disaster recovery implementations

· Contribute to project scoping, planning, and technical design

· Ensure projects are delivered securely, on time, and to agreed standards set out by the Engineering Manager

Requirements

Based in Worksop, North Nottinghamshire we are seeking a bright, enthusiastic individual with good people skills and an understanding of Microsoft products and network principles., · Demonstrable experience in an MSP or multi client IT support environment

· Strong all round technical background with ability to work independently

· Proven experience delivering client facing projects

· Confident troubleshooting across mixed environments


Technical Skills (Expected):

· Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)

· Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, MFA, Conditional Access

· Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO)

· Networking (routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs)

· Firewalls and security fundamentals

· Backup and disaster recovery solutions

· Endpoint management and security tooling.

· Telephony basics.

· WIFI implementation and management., * IT support: 1 year (required)
