Job description
- Collect, validate, and analyze complex datasets to ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability across multiple sources
- Design, develop, and optimize data models, reports, and dashboards to support business performance tracking and decision-making
- Utilize advanced Excel capabilities (including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation techniques) and other analytical tools to extract insights
- Perform detailed data quality assessments, proactively identifying trends, anomalies, and root causes of data issues
- Translate business requirements into analytical outputs, providing clear insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver scalable reporting solutions
- Handle ad-hoc analysis requests, delivering timely and accurate insights to support operational and strategic decisions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of data processes, reporting standards, and documentation
Requirements
My client is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to drive data-informed decision-making and deliver actionable insights across the business. This role requires a proactive individual who can independently manage data processes, perform in-depth analysis, and collaborate with stakeholders to support strategic initiatives., * Proven experience in data analysis, including data collection, transformation, and interpretation in a business environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with additional tools (e.g., Google Sheets, BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau) is highly desirable
- Solid understanding of data analysis techniques and basic statistical concepts
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality assurance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain data insights to non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with databases or SQL is a plus
- Open to candidates from diverse industries with transferable data analysis experience
