Job description
You will play a key role at the intersection of data architecture, backend development, and energy use cases, contributing directly to the core of the platform.
This position focuses on designing and building robust data systems, including EMS data ingestion, time-series modeling, and high-performance analytical layers.
You will collaborate closely with product, backend, and energy experts to translate real-world energy challenges into scalable and reliable data solutions.
Your main responsibilities:
- Design and evolve the data architecture (ingestion, modeling, analytics)
- Develop and maintain data pipelines (EMS, IoT, metering data)
- Model and process time-series energy data (costs, usage, scenarios)
- Optimize SQL queries and manage PostgreSQL performance and schema
- Develop backend logic and analytical APIs (TypeScript / Deno)
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and traceability across the platform
- Contribute to technical decisions and continuous platform improvement
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
- Fluent in French and English
- Experience in data engineering and/or backend data systems
- Strong expertise in SQL and PostgreSQL
- Experience with TypeScript (Node.js or Deno)
- Experience with data pipelines and data architecture
Nice to have:
- Experience in the energy sector or with EMS / IoT systems
- Experience with Supabase
- Knowledge of performance optimization and scalable systems
