Job description

Vienna Start (lenght) 5/2026 (12m) Contract Contract via CP Home office 80% Monthly 6 400 EUR Interview dates

I'm seeking a Python Developer, who will maintain a Node.js (Express/Koa) backend, ensuring stability and performance, while helping build a Python-based LLM orchestration platform. Work includes LangChain, prompt engineering, CI/CD, Docker, and cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP). The role transitions toward full AI development. Strong Python, backend systems, and LLM experience required.

Project

  • building and transitioning a conversational AI feature for a digital banking platform
  • maintaining and stabilising an existing Node.js backend in the short to mid-term (bug fixes, minor enhancements, reliability improvements)
  • ensuring ongoing stability and performance of production backend services in a regulated environment
  • contributing to the design and development of a new Python-based orchestration layer for conversational AI
  • working with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain
  • supporting integration of large language models into production-ready systems
  • gradually transitioning from legacy Node.js services to a Python/AI-focused architecture
  • participating in system design and technical decision-making for the AI platform
  • engaging in an initial maintenance-focused role with a planned shift toward full-time AI development (Python/LLM stack), Detailed settings Privacy - Cookies setting
