What You Will Do

  • Take full ownership of battery test delivery, ensuring thorough preparation of test facilities and components to meet agreed schedules.

  • Provide technical expertise in setting up and executing battery tests, delivering accurate and high-quality data that drives engineering decisions.

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee small project teams to achieve testing objectives efficiently and effectively.

  • Review test requests for feasibility and ensure compliance with EUCAR Hazard Level 4 requirements.

  • Champion process documentation in line with established safety protocols and support the collection of team performance metrics.

Requirements

Proven experience in supervising engineering teams and providing technical guidance, with a focus on mentoring and training.

  • Expertise in data acquisition, control systems, automated test programming, and data analysis.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a structured approach to resolving technical challenges.

  • Comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments and COSHH.

  • Hands-on experience with Lithium-ion battery technology and high-voltage environments.
