Are you the expert who can turn complex Linux and database environments into optimized, high-performance machines?
This mission goes beyond operations, it's about rethinking and optimizing existing infrastructures in a context where performance must increase while costs decrease.
You'll act as a technical strategist + hands-on expert, bringing clarity, structure, and measurable improvements to complex environments.
You will take ownership of a global optimization and transformation initiative:
- Analyze and map Linux environments and associated databases
- Identify performance, cost, and operational inefficiencies
- Define a clear, actionable roadmap (planning + workload estimation)
- Optimize architecture, administration, and usage of resources
- Provide deep insights into:
- Server landscape
- CPU / memory / storage usage
- Application consumption
- Security layers
- Prioritize improvements across:
- Performance
- Security
- Resilience
- Cost efficiency
Role
Design and optimize Linux server & database architectures
Propose and implement automation, monitoring & optimization tools
Support teams in:
- Real-time monitoring
- Patching strategies
- Incident resolution
Build a structured transformation roadmap
Deliver high-quality technical documentation:
- Maintenance procedures
- Backup & recovery
- Failover strategies
- Security practices
Ensure knowledge transfer to internal teams
Requirements
- Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian)
Databases

PostgreSQL, MySQL / MariaDB

Oracle (nice to have)

Microsoft SQL Server (is a plus)

Profile
- Strong experience in Linux system engineering (enterprise environments)
- Solid background in database administration & optimization
- Proven ability to analyze, simplify, and optimize complex systems
- Experience with monitoring, automation, and performance tuning
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability
- Comfortable working autonomously and driving initiatives end-to-end
