Job description

A leading technology consultancy in Málaga, Spain is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to contribute to a strategic application in the Markets area. The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate, along with experience in containerization technologies and REST APIs. You'll collaborate in an Agile environment and enjoy benefits like career development opportunities and multicultural project exposure., * Develop and maintain a high-performance backend application.

Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and refine business requirements.
Design and implement scalable and robust technical solutions.
Build and enhance backend modules within a microservices architecture.
Develop and execute test cases to ensure code quality.
Support and manage production deployments.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents.
Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
Work within an Agile (Scrum) environment.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer / Software Engineer.
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
Mandatory experience with Camunda (process orchestration).
Hands-on experience with REST APIs (design & integration).
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, OpenShift).
Familiarity with AWS and DevOps practices.
Strong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle / SQL).
Experience with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions).
Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
