Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain Java backend services and APIs in a microservices architecture.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
- Deploy and operate cloud-native applications on AWS, using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code, following backend best practices.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing systems to ensure reliability and performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
About the Team
You will be part of a team of 6 Talented Software and QA engineers, working in close collaboration with a Solution Analyst, UX Designer, and Product Owner. As part of our Agile processes, you'll play an active role in developing and delivering Cortellis Drug Discovery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent relevant work experience.
- At least 6 years of industry experience in Java (Spring Boot) and NodeJS, as well as developing backend RESTful services within a microservices architecture.
- Experience with SQL, Elastic search y AWS
- At least 6 years of experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Version Control tools (preferably Git)
It would be great if you also had . . .
- Experience of working within an Agile delivery environment.
- Experience running services in docker.
- Experience using Jenkins.
