Job description

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java backend services and APIs in a microservices architecture.
  • Build scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Deploy and operate cloud-native applications on AWS, using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code, following backend best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing systems to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams.

About the Team

You will be part of a team of 6 Talented Software and QA engineers, working in close collaboration with a Solution Analyst, UX Designer, and Product Owner. As part of our Agile processes, you'll play an active role in developing and delivering Cortellis Drug Discovery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • At least 6 years of industry experience in Java (Spring Boot) and NodeJS, as well as developing backend RESTful services within a microservices architecture.
  • Experience with SQL, Elastic search y AWS
  • At least 6 years of experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Version Control tools (preferably Git)

It would be great if you also had . . .

  • Experience of working within an Agile delivery environment.
  • Experience running services in docker.
  • Experience using Jenkins.
