Job description
As an Analytics Engineer, you will take ownership of the analytics layer of our data platform and help us shape the next phase.
Design & Modeling
- Automate technical parts of the analytics workflow, building robust data pipelines that seamlessly translate complex business logic into scalable dbt models.
- Optimize models for performance, cost efficiency, and long-term maintainability.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into structured data solutions, identify the true business question and deliver high-impact outcomes.
- Drive alignment around consistent and governed metric definitions and reporting standards.
Self-Serve Enablement
- Enable governed self-serve analytics by simplifying access to trusted data sources.
- Support business users in adopting best practices for data exploration.
- Optimize our data platform - especially the analytics layer - for AI uses cases and applications
Data Quality & Infrastructure
- Implement testing, monitoring, and data quality checks to ensure reliability.
- Partner with data engineers to ensure clean ingestion and proper upstream design.
- Optimize warehouse usage through thoughtful partitioning, clustering, and incremental modeling.
Requirements
Are you passionate about turning complex data into scalable, trusted foundations for decision-making? Do you enjoy operating at the intersection of engineering, analytics, and stakeholder collaboration?, * Fluency in English and SQL.

5+ years of experience in analytics engineering or similar roles.

Practical experience leveraging AI tools to automate workflows, document business logic and accelerate coding.

Deep expertise in data transformation using dbt.

Proficient with version control systems like Git and comfortable with collaborative PR workflows.

Solid understanding of data modeling (fact & dimension design, grain discipline)

Experienced with the implementation of data quality tests and validation frameworks.

Experience with BI tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, Omni, etc.).

Proven stakeholder management skills across different seniority levels.

Ability to structure ambiguous problems and propose pragmatic solutions.

You can explain clustering and partitioning to a 10-year-old.
