Technical Support Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Engineer to join our small but growing team in the Midlands. This role suits someone with a few years in industry who is comfortable taking responsibility and wants to keep building their skills.

The role

You will be involved in delivering practical engineering solutions across a range of projects, from early design through to implementation and support.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions that meet project requirements
• Work closely with different teams to deliver projects on time
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Contribute ideas to improve processes and ways of working

• Strong Health and Safety awareness in industrial settings
• 3 to 5 years of relevant engineering experience - Heavy engineering, power generation, steam raising plant etc.
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working as part of a team and independently
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office applications

• Previous involvement in project delivery and understanding of project lifecycles
• Understanding of industry standards or regulations
