Job description

As member of a Global IT Organisation, you will be responsible for leading the IT related aspects of the transformation of our HR processes in DACH, embedded in an European structure. Our transformation will ultimately lead to more automated and AI enabled HR processes and transition into a cloud based and globally standardized environment., * Provide senior leadership and end-to-end ownership for critical components of our HR IT landscape within the Corporate Digital Unit (IT division, Corporate Applications - Human Resources), setting direction, priorities, and success measures for the domain.

  • Act as the senior leader between HR/business process owners, IT delivery teams, and external providers-aligning stakeholders, managing expectations, and driving decisions to enable business outcomes.
  • Lead a portfolio of HR-IT initiatives across the application lifecycle, providing governance from demand intake and prioritization through requirements, solution direction, delivery oversight, and value realization. You may sponsor or lead projects (modules or end-to-end) while ensuring consistent standards, risk management, and stakeholder sign-off.
  • Lead a team of experts, dedicated, shared and virtual and provide guidance
  • Own the service performance for the domain (transform, change and run, establishing operating processes KPIs/SLAs, and escalation paths; ensure stable operations while enabling continuous improvement in partnership with internal support teams and vendors.
  • Drive the strategic evolution of master data and reporting capabilities, establishing governance and accountability for data quality, controls, and stakeholder adoption.
  • Optimize the cost of the operation, reduce legacy IT systems in your area of responsibility and implement AI enabled solutions.Set direction and govern delivery for change requests and process improvements in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (HR, key users, process owners, in-house IT, and service providers). Ensure effective release and upgrade management, clear decision-making, and timely resolution of major incidents/escalations through strong provider and stakeholder steering.

Requirements

  • You distinguish yourself as a strategic team player with a high degree of personal responsibility and a proactive, forward-thinking approach in national and international contexts.
  • Several years of experience leading HR IT applications and/or programs in global / corporate environments, including responsibility for roadmap, governance, and delivery oversight (hands-on configuration expertise is a plus, but leadership and ownership are essential).
  • Good understanding of SAP SuccessFactors and its integration into an HR IT landscape, enabling you to steer strategy, priorities, and delivery with internal teams and partners.
  • Strong understanding of core HR processes and the regulatory context in the DACH region, enabling you to guide compliant solution decisions and partner effectively with HR and legal stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels (including senior stakeholders), translate complexity into clear options and decisions, and ensure responsible handling of confidential information.
  • User Experience and customer focus are important drivers for your activities and motivation. You listen to the demands from the users and translate this into a meaningful roadmap. Proven ability to assess complex dependencies (process, architecture, and regulatory) and drive pragmatic decisions, managing risks and trade-offs to keep delivery on track.
  • Strong change-leadership and consulting mindset, enabling you to drive digital transformation, stakeholder adoption, and continuous improvement of HR processes.
  • Your high affinity for AI and your practical experience with AI driven solutions enables you to optimize the domain by using AI to materialize the related efficiencies. You stay curious about new developments in the HR process and services, and you are capable to adopt it into your roadmap.Business fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, are essential for international collaboration. Japanese is an additional optional benefit.
