Job description

A leading technology company in Málaga is searching for a Senior Backend Developer to engage in a strategic application development project. The role involves managing the software lifecycle, collaborating in an Agile environment, and requiring strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Camunda. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience and a robust set of skills in backend technologies and microservices architecture. A permanent, full-time contract is offered with opportunities for career development., * Develop and maintain a high-performance backend application.

Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and refine business requirements.
Design and implement scalable and robust technical solutions.
Build and enhance backend modules within a microservices architecture.
Develop and execute test cases to ensure code quality.
Support and manage production deployments.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents.
Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
Work within an Agile (Scrum) environment.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer / Software Engineer.
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
Mandatory experience with Camunda for process orchestration.
Hands-on experience with REST APIs design and integration.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and OpenShift.
Familiarity with AWS and DevOps practices.
Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle or SQL.
Experience with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
Experience working in an Agile (Scrum) environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
