Strategic Security Architect

A senior Strategic Security Architect who can assess the impact of strategic initiatives on the bank's security posture while guiding teams toward secure, scalable solutions. You act as a bridge between business and IT, aligning stakeholders and ensuring that security principles are embedded in both architecture and delivery. You act as a sparring partner to architects, Product Owners, and Grid Owners, while also supporting agile teams in translating architectural direction into practical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Define and review solution architectures and solution intents

• Guide DevOps teams during design and implementation phases

• Ensure adherence to security standards and best practices

• Collaborate across multiple departments and technologies

• Drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups

• Promote continuous improvement and learning within teams

Minimum 5+ years in IT Architecture roles

• Strong background in Information Security

• Proven experience in solution architecture and design

• University or BSc degree

• Strong knowledge of:

• Digital Identity (RBAC/ABAC)

• Authentication protocols

• Electronic signing

• Excellent analytical and communication skills

• Ability to drive solutions and influence stakeholders

• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure services

• Background in software engineering

• TOGAF / Archimate certification

• Security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CEH)
