Job description
This role requires hands-on technical capability combined with the ability to lead offshore delivery teams from an onshore (UK) location , working closely with client stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:
Client Engagement & Delivery
- Act as the primary onshore point of contact for client stakeholders, understanding business requirements and translating them into data and analytics solutions
- Lead delivery of client projects by managing and coordinating offshore teams , ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with client expectations
- Provide thought leadership and recommendations to clients on data, analytics, and reporting improvements
- Ensure strong governance, documentation, and communication across onshore-offshore teams
Data & Analytics Leadership
- Lead end-to-end data and analytics solutions , from requirement gathering to design, development, and deployment
- Design and deliver analytical datasets, dashboards, and reports to support underwriting, bordereau management, and performance monitoring
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with insurance business definitions
Technical Responsibilities
- Hands-on development and review of:
- SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation
- Power BI dashboards and reports for business and executive users
- Power Apps for workflow automation and operational use cases
- Support and oversee Bordereaux production , validation, and reporting processes
- Optimize data models and reporting performance
Domain Expertise
- Apply strong Specialty Insurance knowledge , including:
- Understanding of MGA operating models
- Bordereaux structures and reporting requirements
- Financial and underwriting data concepts
- Advise clients on best practices in data management and analytics within the insurance domain
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data & Analytics Lead with strong Specialty Insurance domain expertise , particularly in MGAs , to lead and deliver client-facing analytics and reporting initiatives., * 7-10 years of experience in Data & Analytics roles , preferably within Insurance
- Strong experience working with Specialty Insurance and MGAs
- Proven experience leading offshore delivery teams while working onshore with clients
- Advanced SQL skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and Power Apps
- Working knowledge of Bordereaux production and reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to balance hands-on delivery with leadership responsibilities
- Client-focused, proactive, and outcome-driven
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, delivery-oriented environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in consulting or professional services environments
- Exposure to cloud data platforms or modern data architectures
- Experience with data quality frameworks and governance
