Job description

  • Design, develop, document, and support APIs and integration services in accordance with architectural standards.
  • Implement system-to-system integrations using industry-standard patterns to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain API specifications, interface contracts, and support documentation.
  • Ensure integrations meet non-functional requirements related to security, performance, availability, and scalability.
  • Support integration testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and operational readiness activities.
  • Collaborate closely with architecture, development, QA, and DevOps teams within agile delivery models.

Requirements

We are looking for an Integration Developer (3-5 years overall experience) who can design, develop, and maintain APIs and integration services that enable secure, reliable, and scalable communication between systems. The ideal candidate will support end-to-end integration across applications and platforms while ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business requirements. This role requires strong systems integration expertise, a solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architecture, development, QA, and DevOps teams in complex delivery environments., * Strong experience in API and integration development using RESTful services, JSON, and HTTP-based protocols.

  • Experience working with integration frameworks, middleware platforms, or microservices-based architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of API security concepts including authentication, authorization, OAuth, and JWT.
  • Experience integrating backend systems, third-party services, and enterprise platforms.
  • Experience working in complex, enterprise-scale application environments.
  • Knowledge of API design standards
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns (EIP)

Certification:

  • Certifications such IBM Certified Developer - App Connect / Integration Bus, AWS are desirable.
