Job location
Tech stack
Job description
- Be responsible for the oversight, scaling, and end-to-end technical delivery of our product
- Lead meetings with technical stakeholders, capture technical requirements and decisions in real time, and relay them precisely to the architecture and engineering team
- Drive the key platform architecture decisions: Azure infrastructure, extraction model benchmarking, schema version one, supported by our experienced technical advisors
- Oversee data audit and mapping for the existing client in coordination with our lead architect (PhD, Microsoft Dynamics expert)
- Lead technical onboarding of clients: document ingestion, AI-structured asset records, and a portfolio dashboard that drives real decisions across the full asset lifecycle
Requirements
Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and AI-native software engineer with outstanding academic credentials and first tier-1 corporate experiences or a credible software portfolio. A product-minded technical generalist with desire to take on ownership and evolve into a CTO role. Has had first experiences in shipping large-scale B2B products.
Able to drive technical conversations with IT heads of client counterparts. Ready to lead the thinking on platform architecture and roadmap, not just feature delivery. Motivated by ownership and long-term value creation over short-term compensation, aligned with the mindset of a builder, not a hired hand.
Must-have
- Full-time in Zurich
- Master's degree in Computer Science or similar
- German fluency (native or near-native), good command of English
- Previous end-to-end ownership of B2B product development (e.g., data schema, multi-tenant architecture, API design, UX decisions, etc.)
- Knowledge of LLM APIs/ AI extraction pipelines
- Hands-on experience with document AI and image recognition pipelines: OCR on low-quality scans, mixed file format handling, and structured data extraction from messy, real-world document sets
Nice to have
- Background in proptech, construction tech, or enterprise SaaS
- Experience coordinating distributed or part-time engineering teams
- Exposure to ERP data interfaces or building management systems
- Familiarity with Swiss data regulations (nFADSG, data residency)
Benefits & conditions
- Shape the technical foundation of a high-potential asset intelligence startup with paying pilot customers already on board and a clear path to scale
- Full technical ownership from day one with experienced specialists already in place and opportunity to work alongside some of the most brilliant tech minds in the industry
- Meaningful equity stake with a multi-year vesting schedule
