Job description
- Own and evolve features supporting superlative guest experiences and features, such as Booking Engine, Guest Portal, Digital Key, Kiosk and more.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Take end-to-end ownership of your work, from design and development to production and operational quality.
- Ensure high standards of quality, usability, performance, reliability, observability and security.
- Develop backend services using .NET Core and deploy on Azure using services such as App Service, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Redis, and others.
- Develop front-end applications using React & Redux, JavaScript & TypeScript.
- Write clean, well-tested and maintainable code with a strong focus on long-term quality.
- Review code thoughtfully, learn from feedback, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by constructively challenging technical decisions and the team's way of working.
- Care about the technical health of the product, proactively proposing improvements and using AI tools effectively in your day-to-day work.
- Work remotely with a high degree of autonomy, taking responsibility for clear, effective communication.
- Innovate and execute solutions on a daily basis, working on initiatives using a wide range of technologies.
- Learn and contribute in multiple technologies, reducing dependencies and enabling faster, more frictionless development.
- Take ownership of projects and gradually take ownership of some part of the product.
- Take part in on-call / incident rotations to keep our GX surface stable and reliable You won't be siloed into "just backend" or "just frontend." You'll own problems end-to-end.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of at least one technology (.NET, React, CSS, Javascript, Microservices)
- Practical skills in a wide set of technologies (.NET, React, Typescript, SQL, DevOps, CI/CD, SRE)
- Demonstrated experience owning projects
- Effective communication in English
