Job description

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong Neo4j expertise to join a dynamic team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines while integrating graph database solutions within a modern Azure ecosystem., * Design and implement data pipelines using Azure services

  • Develop and optimize graph data models using Neo4j
  • Write efficient queries using Cypher and perform performance tuning
  • Build scalable data ingestion and transformation processes using Python and PySpark
  • Integrate Neo4j graph databases with Azure cloud data platforms
  • Work with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Storage
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
  • Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability across systems

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Neo4j (Cypher, graph modeling, performance tuning)
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure:
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Azure Databricks
  • Azure Storage
  • Proficiency in Python and PySpark for data engineering tasks
  • Experience integrating graph databases with cloud-based data platforms
  • Solid understanding of data architecture and ETL processes

Experience Required

  • 6-8 years of overall experience in Data Engineering or related roles

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in distributed data environments
  • Familiarity with modern data architectures and big data technologies
