Job description
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern data engineering tools and cloud-based data platforms, with a focus on building scalable, high-performance data solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
- Work with large datasets using modern data engineering frameworks and tools
- Build and optimize data workflows using Databricks, dbt, and Apache Spark
- Develop and maintain data solutions using Python and SQL Server
- Implement and manage data integration processes using Azure Data Factory
- Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to define data models and architecture
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Ensure data quality, governance, and performance optimization
- Support CI/CD processes and deployment of data solutions
Requirements
- Strong experience with Databricks, dbt, Apache Spark, and Python
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory
- Solid knowledge of SQL Server and advanced SQL
- Experience with Power BI for reporting and visualization
- Strong understanding of data architecture and data modeling
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SSIS and SSRS
- Exposure to enterprise-scale data environments
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
