Job description

Python Developer

My client, a large consultancy, is in need of a Python Developer for a 6 month contract inside IR35 based in London offering 2 days per week remote but requiring 3 days per week on-site.

The ideal candidate will have string experience in with AAH from both configuration and business process perspectives, Proficiency in Python, PL-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, packages, and database querying, Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and active participation in related ceremonies, Experience using Jira for collaboration and documentation, Knowledge of Git and associated code repositories, with experience in Harness CI/CD pipelines implementation, Skilled in automated testing activities using Playwright or similar automation frameworks, Understanding of finance functions and processes.

The ideal candidate will desirably have Ability to work effectively within a team of Data Engineers, contributing to community-building within the Finance Platform, Curiosity and innovation in learning new technologies and approaches, supporting others in their development, Analytical problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming technical challenges.
