Job description
We are looking for a motivated Junior Enterprise Developer / Junior Software Developer who is keen to learn and grow. You don't need to know everything from day one - if you have a basic foundation in programming and a genuine interest in building systems, working with data, and supporting useful internal tools, we'll support you with the rest.
In this role, you'll help develop and improve the systems that keep the business running. You'll work with data, integrations, automation, and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence , gaining experience across a wide range of technologies
Requirements

Some experience with at least one programming language (Python or JavaScript are especially useful, but any solid foundation is fine.)

Eagerness to learn new languages and tools as needed.

Basic understanding of SQL or interest in learning how to work with databases.

Familiarity with APIs (or willingness to learn how REST APIs and JSON work).

Willingness to work with JIRA & Confluence , with full support and training provided.

Basic Git usage (committing, branching, pull requests) - or willingness to learn.

Curious and willing to learn.

Comfortable asking questions and working with others.

Able to explain what you're working on in simple terms., Note : Due to the nature of work undertaken at SubSea Craft, the selected candidate must be capable of meeting the security requirements of the position, which would include as a minimum existing right to live and work in the UK, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), with UK National security clearance required for certain roles.*
