Senior Systems Engineer

We re working with an innovative company in the space sector who are looking to bring in a Senior Systems Engineer to support the delivery of cutting-edge satellite and space-based projects.

This is a key role sitting at the heart of complex engineering programmes ideal for someone who enjoys seeing the full system come together, from concept through to launch.

The role:

You ll be responsible for leading systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure performance, integration, and delivery.

What you ll be doing:

• Leading system architecture, requirements, and design activities
• Managing requirements capture, validation, and verification
• Supporting integration, testing, and system-level analysis
• Acting as a technical point of contact across engineering teams
• Driving best practice in systems engineering processes

• Proven experience in a systems engineering role (ideally senior level)
• Background in aerospace, defence, or space sector projects
• Strong understanding of the full systems lifecycle (V-model)
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS)
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary engineering teams
