Net Developer

We're working with an established software business looking to hire a .NET Developer to focus on maintaining and improving their existing systems., This is a slightly different type of developer role; instead of working on new builds, you'll be working across live systems used by long-standing clients, resolving issues, implementing improvements, and ensuring everything runs smoothly day-to-day., You'll be working across a range of existing web applications and systems, supporting a diverse client base by:

• Investigating and resolving bugs and technical issues
• Making enhancements and improvements to live systems
• Working across both back-end and front-end components
• Understanding and modifying existing codebases
• Responding to client requests via a ticketing system (no phone support)
• Collaborating with a wider development team to continuously improve systems

This is a hands-on development role, but focused entirely on existing systems rather than new project builds.

• Experience working with existing systems, maintenance, or bug fixing
• Comfortable working with legacy codebases (e.g. .NET Framework / Web Forms)
• Basic front-end knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

• Good written communication skills

Nice to Have (Not Essential)

• Experience with SQL / databases
• Previous exposure to support, tickets, or client requests
