Job description
As a Senior Digital Workplace Engineer, you will work closely with Workplace Architects, security teams, and service owners to implement, optimize, and continuously improve modern endpoint solutions. You will take architectural designs and translate them into robust, scalable, and automated implementations, ensuring they perform reliably in real-world environments.
This role is ideal for a senior engineer who wants to shape how endpoints are experienced, contribute to AI-enabled workplace evolution, and grow into a key technical influencer within the Digital Workplace ecosystem.
What You'll Do:
- Engineer and operate advanced Intune and endpoint solutions aligned with architectural standards.
- Drive automation-first practices that improve reliability, security, and user experience.
- Act as a senior technical partner to Workplace Architects, validating designs through hands-on engineering.
- Play an active role in the adoption of AI-powered capabilities, including Microsoft Copilot, across the Digital Workplace.
Endpoint Engineering & Advanced Scenarios
- Implement and optimize advanced Intune configurations designed by Workplace Architects.
- Engineer complex endpoint scenarios such as:
- Windows Autopilot and lifecycle management.
- Advanced compliance and configuration profiles.
- Ensure solutions are secure, supportable, and operationally efficient at scale.
Automation & Engineering Excellence
- Design and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and modern tooling.
- Reduce manual operational effort through proactive remediations, automated deployments and updates and standardized and repeatable engineering patterns.
- Contribute to CI/CD-style approaches for endpoint configurations and application delivery.
Security, Compliance & Analytics
- Implement endpoint security controls in alignment with security and architecture teams.
- Support compliance reporting and posture management using Intune and Endpoint Analytics.
- Use data and telemetry to identify improvements in performance, reliability, and user experience.
Collaboration with Workplace Architects
- Work side-by-side with Digital / Modern Workplace Architects to:
- Translate architecture into executable engineering solutions
- Provide feedback on feasibility, scalability, and operational impact
- Validate and refine designs through real-world implementation
- Act as a bridge between architecture and operations, ensuring designs succeed in production.
AI & Copilot Enablement
A key evolution of this role is its increasing contribution to AI-enabled Digital Workplace capabilities.
- Support the technical enablement of Microsoft Copilot across endpoints
- Contribute to AI-assisted endpoint operations
- Partner with architects and product teams to explore how AI can enhance endpoint management, security, and user productivity.
This role offers a clear path to becoming a key technical contributor in the future AI-powered workplace, with opportunities to influence how Copilot and intelligent tooling are operationalized at scale.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience in Endpoint Management / Modern Workplace (Intune, MECM, M365)
- Advanced PowerShell scripting for automation and remediation
- Microsoft Graph API for large-scale endpoint operations.
- Intune, Autopilot, Endpoint Analytics, and compliance tooling.
- Engineering integration between Intune and adjacent platforms.
- Strong collaboration and technical communication skills.
