ERP Solution Architect

• Play a key role in shaping, designing, and delivering solution architecture for the ERP platform
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable ERP solutions for retail operations
• Provide architecture governance and design assurance across the ERP transformation programme
• Translate business requirements into technical architecture designs
• Support the implementation and rollout of D365 F&O
• Work closely with implementation partners and internal delivery teams to validate designs
• Ensure solution designs support retail operational processes
• Lead design workshops and provide architectural input during various solution phases
• Design and oversee integration architecture between D365 and surrounding enterprise systems
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology stakeholders
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across development and implementation teams
• Ensure ERP solutions adhere to Microsoft best practices and architectural standards
• Manage technical risk, dependencies, and architectural trade-offs during delivery
• Support the definition of ERP architecture principles, patterns, and documentation

• Strong experience as a Solution Architect in ERP transformation programmes
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) architecture and capabilities
• Experience delivering end-to-end ERP implementations or migrations
• Proven experience designing enterprise-level solution architectures
• Experience designing system integrations between ERP platforms and surrounding enterprise applications
• Strong understanding of data flows, APIs, integration middleware, and system interoperability

We are a leading retail organization currently undergoing a large-scale ERP transformation, implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) as part of our modernization of core business systems. Our team is high performing, close-knit, and driven to succeed in delivering innovative solutions. This role offers a competitive rate of £700-750 per day as an umbrella engagement on an initial 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension due to the ongoing nature of the project.
