IT Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused 1st Line IT Support Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, supporting our network of dealerships and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

As a 1st Line Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for IT support across our business. The role will involve both remote and on-site support at our dealerships, so a full UK Driving Licence and own car, along with flexibility and a proactive approach, are essential.

Key responsibilities include providing first-line technical support to users via phone, email, and in person. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues. Set up and configure new equipment, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices. Support Microsoft 365 and common business applications. Escalate more complex issues to senior engineers where required. Travel to dealership sites to provide on-site support when needed.

Requirements include previous experience in a 1st Line IT Support role (or similar) strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365. Full UK driving licence. Access to a car, as travel between dealership sites is required.

Desirable but not essential experience working in a multi-site environment, knowledge of networking basics, relevant IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA, Microsoft) If you're passionate about IT, enjoy helping people, and want to build your career in a hands-on support role, we'd love to hear from you.
