Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our agile engineering teams. You will be responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, enabling reliable, scalable, and secure delivery of applications in AWS-based environments. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub
- Build and maintain AWS environments to support application and platform teams
- Create and manage machine images using Packer
- Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform
- Deploy, manage, and operate container platforms using Kubernetes
- Automate configuration management and deployments using Ansible
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability
- Collaborate with development and testing teams within Agile delivery frameworks
- Troubleshoot production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Strong hands-on Experience with:
- AWS (compute, networking, IAM, container services)
- Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
- Packer for image creation
- Kubernetes and containerised workloads
- Jenkins for CI/CD automation
- Ansible for configuration management
- GitHub for source control and collaboration
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability tools
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Desirable Skills
- Scripting Experience (Bash, Python, or similar)
- Experience with DevOps security best practices
- Exposure to microservices and cloud-native architectures
- Experience supporting high-availability or production-critical systems
