Job description
- Provide specialist 2nd line technical support for our force networks.
- Assist in the configuration and maintenance of firewalls, routers, switches, WiFi, and VPN technologies.
- Collaborate with Cyber and Security teams to enforce best practices.
- Monitor network performance and facilitate routine maintenance.
- Support the implementation of new network infrastructure and participate in Business As Usual (BAU) activities.

Requirements
- Proficient in firewall, router, and switch configuration.
- Strong understanding of network security and compliance.
- Experience with VPN technologies and load balancing.
- Familiarity with dynamic routing protocols, including OSPF and BGP.
- Knowledge of SD WAN technologies and MPLS.
- Recognized networking qualification or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience in a 2nd/3rd line network engineer role in an IT environment.
