Job description

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join us in an international Insurance client. Hybrid work required, Barcelona. Minimum 4 years of previous experience: Responsabilities:

Manage data workflows and pipelines, ensuring smooth operation and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile Scrum methodologies.
Demonstrate strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
Show autonomy and take ownership of tasks to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Exhibit solid software design skills to develop maintainable solutions.
Drive innovation and proactively address challenges in data engineering projects

Requirements

Advanced proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation.
Experience with AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, and API Gateway.
Expertise in database technologies like Postgres, DynamoDB, and SQL.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Gitlab, Github, and Prometheus.
Knowledge of data migration and integration using AWS DMS.
Strong understanding of data structures, query optimization, and indexing techniques.
