Requirements
Sanderson Government & Defence is supporting a major UK public sector programme and is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong Denodo expertise to join a high-performing delivery team.
This is a client-facing role within a dynamic data services environment, requiring excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and strong commercial awareness. You will play a key role in delivering data integration solutions across multiple connected systems, supporting large-scale migration and transformation initiatives., * Strong hands-on experience with Denodo, including:
- Virtual Data Bases (VDBs)
- Performance optimisation and tuning
- Query delegation techniques
- Caching strategies
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Proven ability to work in client-facing environments
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, delivery-focused approach
- Good commercial awareness
Desirable Skills
- Experience using Jira and Confluence
- Understanding of legacy data warehouse environments within large organisations
Additional Information
- Location: Hybrid working, with occasional on-site workshops (typically a few days per month) in either Telford or Hove
- Security Clearance: Active SC clearance (or transferable clearance from another UK government department) is required
