Job description
- Design and deploy solutions in AWS cloud environments
- Use infrastructure as code to ensure repeatable and compliant deployments
- Configure, manage and maintain GitLab CI pipelines
- Automate testing, build and deployment of infrastructure, applications, and services
- Promote best practice DevOps ways of working across environments
- Implement unit, integration, and performance testing for all components
- Ensure solutions are reliable, reproducible, and stable across releases
- Support continuous improvement of testing practices
- Implement observability and monitoring tooling
- Track system performance and detect anomalies
- Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis in live environments
- Work closely with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders
- Translate requirements into working technical solutions
- Support deployment, handover, and ongoing optimization of delivered capabilities

Requirements
- Active SC clearance
- Strong experience deploying and operating solutions in AWS
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform
- CI/CD pipeline development using GitLab CI
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
- Understanding of secure DevOps practices in regulated environments
- Experience working with large data stores or big data platforms
- Desirable: experience supporting AI or data-driven platforms
- Desirable: knowledge of cyber security or fraud prevention domains
- Desirable: experience working within government or critical national infrastructure environments
