Backend Engineer

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs within a cloud-native microservices environment to support high-traffic digital platforms.

Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services within a microservices architecture.
• Develop high-quality APIs using GraphQL and REST to support web and mobile applications.
• Work closely with product, frontend, and platform teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Contribute to code quality, performance, and reliability through best engineering practices.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps ways of working.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical designs and well-documented solutions.

The successful Senior Backend Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

• Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proven ability to build and maintain microservices-based systems.
• Experience designing and consuming GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Good knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, including testing and automation.
• A collaborative mindset and passion for building scalable, maintainable system
