Job description

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead Wave 2 of a large-scale global Concur instance consolidation. This role is critical in driving the rollout for North America (and potentially MEA), ensuring seamless delivery across internal DT teams and a third-party implementation partner.

The ideal candidate will possess deep functional knowledge of SAP Concur to provide expert oversight and ensure project milestones are met with precision.

Core Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Manage the end-to-end delivery of the Wave 2 Concur Expense rollout, moving from planning into active deployment.
  • Vendor Management: Act as the primary point of contact and oversight for the external implementation vendor, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and timelines.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Sync with internal DT teams and business leads across North America (and potentially MEA) to ensure alignment and readiness.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain rigorous project documentation, tracking, and reporting within Smartsheet to ensure total visibility for leadership.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks in the consolidation process, leveraging previous Concur deployment experience to anticipate common pitfalls.

Requirements

  • Concur Expertise: Proven experience managing SAP Concur Expense implementations or consolidations. Functional knowledge of the tool is essential for effective oversight.
  • Project Tooling: High proficiency in Smartsheet for project tracking and reporting.
  • Global Delivery: Experience working within a global framework; comfortable navigating time zone differences (primarily GMT with occasional late evenings to support US West Coast).
  • Seniority: A 'battle-tested' PM who can operate independently, enter a project mid-stream (Wave 2), and establish immediate credibility with the project team.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical DT teams and business stakeholders.

Benefits & conditions

  • Duration: 3 month contract - Early May through mid-August (Potential for extension)
  • Rate: £400-£450 per day (Inside IR35)
  • Location: Fully Remote (Candidates must be based in the UK.
  • Hours: Standard GMT business hours, with flexibility for occasional evening calls to support North American stakeholders.
