Job description
As a BI Developer, you'll help turn data into clear insights that support decision-making across the business. You'll work on analytical solutions that shine a light on how we operate and help teams make smarter, data-led choices.
We're on an exciting journey, building new ways of working, clearer ownership, and modern technology, with a big focus on developing our cloud-based data platform.
You'll follow best practice, support your fellow BI Developers, and play an active role in the team. That means helping prototype new ideas, building data models, reports and visualisations, and bringing new data into our BI tools. You'll also work closely with our Data Platform and Data Engineering teams to make sure our data setup keeps pace with the needs of the business.
Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
You'll work closely with teams across the business to understand what they need from their data and make sure our BI solutions support real business goals. That includes designing clear, intuitive visualisations for analysts, building and maintaining strong data models across different areas of the business, and making sure our reporting is fast, scalable and easy to use. You'll also play a part in improving how we work by spotting opportunities to refine BI processes and strengthen data-led decision-making.
Alongside this, you'll support the move to our modern cloud data platform, following best practice and agreed standards to keep our solutions secure, compliant and maintainable. You'll look after clear technical documentation, respond quickly to BI incidents and change requests, and help keep quality high by sticking to coding standards and design patterns. Overall, you'll help make sure our BI setup is reliable, consistent and ready to grow with the business.

- You're adaptable, comfortable with change, and happy switching priorities when needed.

What you'll need:
- Solid experience with BI tools like Power BI, Sigma, or similar.
