Job description
We are looking for a Service Acceptance Tester to support the delivery of high-quality digital services. You will be responsible for validating that systems and services meet defined acceptance criteria and are ready for release into live environments. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will test end-to-end service journeys across integrated systems, ensuring solutions are reliable, fit for purpose, and aligned to business needs. What You'll Do Execute Service Acceptance Testing across complex digital services Validate end-to-end user journeys , integrations, and data flows Ensure services meet defined acceptance criteria before release Identify, log, and track defects, working with teams to resolve issues Support service readiness assessments and release activities

Produce clear and auditable test evidence and reports

Work collaboratively with delivery teams, business stakeholders, and service teams, Executed test scenarios and results Defect logs with clear supporting evidence Traceability between requirements and test outcomes Test execution summaries and acceptance reports

Requirements
Experience in system integration testing and/or service acceptance testing Ability to test end-to-end services across multiple systems Strong defect management and investigation skills Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
Desirable Experience Experience working in public sector or regulated environments Understanding of service readiness and release processes Exposure to non-functional testing (e.g. performance, usability)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines or test automation
