Data Engineer

As a Data Analytics Engineer you will contribute to the roll-out of our Modern Data Platform and Architecture. Your engineering skills will enable you to build end-to-end data pipeline flows to prepare data for reporting and visualization. You are expected to align with business users to gather requirements. You will engage in challenging Data Analytics projects which deliver business value to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Back to front responsibility for data and visualization with a focus on ETL & data engineering.
• Work together with colleagues in Belgium and Nearshore countries.
• Development of data pipelines on our Modern Data Platform
• Assist in supporting and maintaining the running environment.
• Deliver and support the creation of quality reports and visualizations.

• Experience with ETL technologies (SSIS, ADF, Databricks)
• Experience with data modeling Techniques (Kimball) & Master data Management.
• Experience with relational and/or unstructured data technologies such as MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, , MongoDB, MySQL
• Experience with data modeling in Power BI

Nice to have:

• Experience with data architectures involving data streams, integrations, transformations, analytics, databases and data warehousing.
• Experience with SSRS & SSAS
• Knowledge of Data science
• Experience with Graph, HD Insights or HADOOP
• Experience with IoT data ingestion, storage, analytics and visualizations
• Knowledge of AI & ML management, architecture and technologies
• Knowledge of data and event driven strategies, management and architectures.
• Experience working in Agile & "traditional" SDLC and hybrid methodology environments
