ERP Solution Architect

You will work closely with the Business Solution Architect (Business Applications Director - Digitalization) and act as the counterpart on the application & solution architecture side. The role is part of the program leadership structure and is instrumental in harmonizing IPCOM's cross country roll outs and a sustainable solution design., * Govern the overall D365 F&O solution architecture, ensuring scalability, harmonization, and alignment with IPCOM's business strategy.

• Taking the lead in building, maintaining and governing our D365 F&O CORE solution
• Define and validate cross domain designs across production, planning, warehousing, logistics, procurement/sales, and finance.
• Translate business requirements into a unified application architecture supporting standardization across all IPCOM entities.
• Steer key architectural decisions (e.g., warehouse models, planning setup, manufacturing flows) balancing business value and feasibility.
• Lead functional deep dives, FIT/GAP analysis, design reviews, and interface/data model evaluations.
• Support complex functional areas hands on, guiding BAs and key users through workshops, testing, and solution sign off.
• Provide architectural oversight during all rollouts, ensuring template adherence while managing valid local variations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain consistency across design, development, and testing.
• Contribute to building internal ERP competence by mentoring BAs and supporting team capability growth.
• Ensure solution quality using best practice frameworks, reviewing designs, test coverage, and rollout readiness.

• At least 10 years implementing D365 F&O or AX (AX2012/AX2009) in production or international trade environments.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect on medium to large, preferably multi country D365 F&O programs.
• Strong functional expertise in one or more: Production & shopfloor execution, Master Planning (MRP/forecasting), Advanced Warehousing, Trade & Logistics / Inventory Management.
• Experienced in collaborating with cross functional teams (BPOs, BAs, developers, integrators, partners).
• Deep understanding of D365 F&O architecture, integrations, data entities, and extension patterns.
• Strong analytical and solution design capabilities, able to translate business needs into scalable ERP designs.
• Skilled at validating and quality checking functional/technical deliverables (FDDs, configurations, integrations).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across operational and executive levels.
• Strong leadership presence and ability to operate confidently within program governance structures.
• Capable of mentoring and developing internal ERP team members.
• Resilient, solution oriented, and effective in fast moving international environments.
• (Nice to Have) Experience with Power Platform, Azure DevOps, MES/WMS integrations, presales, template governance, or enterprise architecture frameworks.
