Founding Engineer

• Build and ship core product features across a modern stack (Python, TypeScript, cloud, event-driven systems)
• Own problems end-to-end from customer discovery through to production deployment
• Work directly with users to turn messy, real-world workflows into elegant AI-powered solutions
• Balance speed vs scalability, knowing when to prototype and when to harden systems
• Set the standard for engineering excellence across reliability, testing, and security

• 5-10 years in full-stack engineering (backend-leaning)
• Proven track record building and shipping AI products end-to-end - especially agentic systems
• Experience in early-stage startups or possess a founder-level ownership mindset
• Strong Python or TypeScript skills (async Python is essential)
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and modern AI tooling
• Deep understanding of async/await, coroutines, httpx, AsyncOpenAI, and production-grade error handling in async systems
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, serverless, distributed systems)
• Ability to move fast and take ownership
• Comfortable with ambiguity and building from first principles
• Passionate about shipping real products - not just prototypes
