Strong working knowledge of Linux administration - this is essential\r\n
Solid understanding of IP networking, routing, firewalls, and subnetting\r\n
Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting routers and network appliances\r\n
Experience with hardware testing, system validation, and quality assurance\r\n
Ability to produce clear engineering drawings (Visio, Draw.Io, or CAD)\r\n
Experience providing remote technical support and distributed deployments\r\n
Strong analytical thinking and communication skills\r\n
Background in automotive, telecommunications, or a similar technical sector is advantageous\r\n

Desirable but not essential skills: \r\n \r\n

Experience with transportation tech: DVR/NVR systems, passenger WiFi, counting sensors, or on-board displays\r\n
Knowledge of OpenWRT or embedded Linux firmware development\r\n
Scripting skills in Bash or Python for automation tasks\r\n
Exposure to IoT, edge networking, or vehicle-based connectivity\r\n
Familiarity with WireGuard or other modern VPN technologies\r\n
