Job description
My client are looking for a Design Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing security systems tailored to client specifications.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilising a broad range of technical skills in system design, telecommunications, and construction.
The successful applicant will play a key part in ensuring the seamless integration of surveillance solutions that meet the highest standards of security and reliability.
Duties
- Proactively contribute to the success and performance of the business by establishing strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- To communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to both customers and stakeholders
- To respond to emails and calls in line with the team`s SLA.
- Ensure all client's solution requirements are completed and followed up where required
- Maximise revenue potential and deliver results the client expects
- Support processes and systems that encourage selling and delivering integrated security solutions
- Conduct Solution Reviews following field operations installation to check for accuracy of installations.
- Conduct Solution reviews, where applicable following a breach
- First line of contact for arranging 'Contract Manager' surveys
- First line of contact for all incoming calls * Administrative duties to ensure compliance for internal/external audits
- Administration duties as and when required
Requirements
- Proven experience in Security System Design or related roles within security or telecommunication industries.
- Strong understanding of computer networking principles relevant to surveillance systems, including IP configurations and network security.
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction practices and the use of hand tools and power tools for installation purposes.
- Familiarity with computer hardware components used in CCTV systems, such as servers, switches, and storage devices.
